Free State Stars will welcome an in-form Polokwane City to Goble Park Stadium for an Absa Premiership clash on 29 April 2017, kick-off at 15h00.

Stars have gone three league matches without a win after they were held 1-1 at Platinum Stars on April 26.

The Free State side has claimed 16 points from 12 home matches this season.

Ea Lla Koto are placed 14th on the Absa Premiership log with 23 points from 25 matches.

Polokwane claimed a second successive league win when they beat Golden Arrows 3-1 at home on April 25.

The Limpopo side has claimed 14 points from 13 away matches this season.

Rise and Shine are placed sixth on the Absa Premiership log with 34 points from 25 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Polokwane and Stars have met in seven league matches since 2013/14.

Ea Lla Koto have three wins compared to two for Rise and Shine, while two matches have been drawn.

Stars have recorded one win, one draw and one loss from their three home league matches against Polokwane.

When the teams met earlier this season, Rise and Shine claimed a 1-0 home win in the Limpopo province.

The teams’ seven league meetings have produced 20 goals.
