Following the CAF Champions League group stage draw, Al Ahly manager Hossam El-Badry says they want to return to the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Red Devils are out to bag this year's club continental tournament and return to the global stage, and the 57-year-old coach has vowed they will fight harder to do so.
El-Badry stressed that his side were drawn in a tough group at the CAF Champions League after they were pitted in Group D alongside Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, Cameroon’s Coton Sport and Zanaco FC of Zambia.

“Our group isn’t easy at all, however, our goal is to return to the FIFA Club World Cup,” El-Badry said to KingFut.com.
“All our opponents are very experienced in this competition, but Al Ahly will be more than ready for these thrilling encounters.
“The team that want to compete for the CAF Champions League title have to respect all other opponents and prepare well.
“We will do all it takes to achieve positive results in the group stage and go through to the quarter-final. We want to fulfill the dreams of the fans by winning the competition and qualifying for the World Cup.”
Al Ahly will face Zambian side Zanaco FC in their group stage opener on the weekend of May 12, before travelling to Cameroon to face Coton Sport.
The Red Devils will play Wydad at home and away in June and will then face Zanaco and Coton in July.
