South Africa Under-20 coach Thabo Senong is pleased with their preparations ahead of the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup finals.
Amajita beat Amsterdam select side 2-0 in a practice match in the Dutch city of Amsterdam on Monday.
Kobamelo Kodisang and Khanyiso Mayo netted for SA as they bounced back to winning ways.
Senong's charges had lost 1-0 defeat to German side VFL Bochum in Germany over the weekend.
Dutch side PEC Zwolle will take on Amajita on Tuesday as the South Africans round off their tour of Europe.
“This was another good match, against a fairly good side," Senong told Safa.net.
"They challenged us physically and were very solid in defence, which pushed us to be more creative in front of goal.
"Many of the players showed great hunger and that pleases the technical team," he continued.
“This is a very crucial week for the players as they have their last chance when we face PEC Zwolle to earn their spot in the final 21 man squad which will represent South Africa at the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup.”
Senong is expected to announce his final squad for finals later this week. South Korea will host the tournament between 20 May and 11 June 2017.
