Maritzburg United will look to bounce back to winning form in the Absa Premiership when they host Platinum Stars at Harry Gwala Stadium on 10 May 2017, kick-off at 19h30.

Maritzburg saw their winning streak ended at three matches when they were beaten 1-0 at Bidvest Wits on May 7.

The KwaZulu-Natal side has claimed 20 points from 13 home matches this season.

The Team of Choice is placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with 35 points from 27 matches.

Stars ended a six-match winless streak by defeating Highlands Park 1-0 at home on May 7.

The Rustenburg side has claimed 15 points from 13 away matches this season.

Dikwena are placed 11th on the Absa Premiership log with 30 points from 27 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Stars and Maritzburg have met in 21 league matches since 2005/06.

Dikwena have 10 wins compared to five for the Team of Choice, while six matches have been drawn.

Maritzburg have won three of their 10 home league matches against Stars, suffering five defeats in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season, they played to a goalless draw in Rustenburg.

Maritzburg are unbeaten in their last five league matches against Stars.
