Zesco opponents announce squad for Confed Cup clash

Zesco United’s opening Group C opponents in the CAF Confederation Cup, Smouha FC of Egypt, have named their squad for this weekend’s clash.

The Zambian side will host Smouha at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Saturday afternoon.

Smouha have been hit by a series of injuries, forcing manager Momen Soliman to name Mohamed Yousri and Ahmed Mustafa ‘Lala’ in their 20-man travelling squad.

Smouha squad:

Goalkeepers: El-Mahdi Soliman, Mohamed Abou Gabal, Ahmed Yehia.

Defenders: Ragab Bakar, Ayman Ashraf, Mahmoud Ezzat, Patrick Malo, Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed Yousri.

Midfielders: Amr El-Monoufy, Mahmoud Abdel-Aziz, Ahmed Nabil ‘Manga’, Nasr Ramadan, Islam Mohareb, Islam Serry, Hossam Hassan, Ahmed Mustafa ‘Lala’.

Forwards: Ahmad Hassan Mekki, Ahmed Raouf, Banou Diawara.
