SC Smouha coach Moamen Soliman said he knows Zesco United very well and has vowed his players will give 110% in the CAF Confederation Cup match.

The match is slated for Saturday afternoon in Zambia as both sides get their group stage campaign underway.

Upon their arrival at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola this week, Soliman said his charges will put in their best foot forward during the Group C match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

“We know Zesco very well, they played in Egypt against Al Ahly in a Champions League match last year,” said Soliman to the Daily Mail website.

“We know that they have quality players, six of them are playing for the national team, so we have our confidence and we have to play and give in 110 percent.

“We know Zesco have a good field and we play good football on a good field, so we are waiting for the day.”

Soliman is experienced in continental tournaments as he was Zamalek's caretaker coach when the Egyptians finished second after a 3-1 aggregate defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa in last year’s CAF Champions League final.

He took over at Smouha in January this year and the team is currently fifth on the Egypt Premier League standings.
