The dates for Egypt’s camp ahead of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tunisia have been announced by the country’s Football Association (EFA).

The Pharaohs are set to face the Carthage Eagles in Rades for their Group J opener on June 11. The other two teams in the group are Niger and Swaziland.

The EFA say that the camp will start a week before the match, allowing coach Hector Cuper time to prepare his team for what is sure to be a challenging North African derby.

“The camp will start on the 4th of June following Al Ahly and Zamalek’s games in CAF Champions League. All players will join the camp following the two games,” EFA executive director Tharwat Sweilam revealed.
