Ebwelle: Cameroon U17 already planning for Gabon U17

Cameroon Under-17 head coach Bertin Ebwelle remains hopeful following his side's 1-1 draw with Guinea Under-17 on Wednesday.

The draw sees the Junior Indomitable Lions remains third on 2017 U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group A table - three points behind second-placed Guinea with one game left.

Cameroon will have to beat tournament hosts, Gabon, in their final group match and hope that the result between Guinea and Ghana go their way on Saturday.

"This is competition and we still have the possibility of going through with this result," Ebwelle said.

"We can look forward to our last group match against Gabon with great hope, anything is still possible.

"We are still hopeful and we need to score more goals in the next match to have a mathematical chances of going through."

Cameroon and Gabon will lock horns at the Stade de Port-Gentil in Port-Gentil. Kick-off is at 19h30 CAT.
