19h00 - We wrap up this African Stars Watch with news that Aissa Mandi's Real Betis have been held to a 2-2 draw in their La Liga clash at Sporting Gijon.

18h50 - Coming up in 10 minutes we have two further La Liga matches: Faycal Fajr and Kevin-Prince Boateng are on the respective benches for Deportivo La Coruna v Las Palmas, while Nabil El Zhar and Zouhar Feddal start for their respective teams in the Leganes v Alaves clash.

18h45 - Half time in Serie A, where Mohamed Salah has scored a goal to see Roma drawing 2-2 at Chievo.

18h40 - Aissa Mandi's Real Betis have conceded a goal and they're now drawing 2-2 at Gijon.

18h35 - Stephan El Shaarawy has scored to bring Mohamed Salah's Roma back on level terms with Chievo, it's 1-1 in the Serie A clash.

18h20 - Mohamed Salah's Roma are 1-0 down against Chievo, with Lucas Castrp putting the hosts ahead.

18h15 - Past the hour mark in Spain, Betis have a 2-1 lead at Gijon. Aissa Mandi has appeared as a second-half substitute for the latter.

18h00 - Underway in Serie A, where Mohamed Salah's Roma will be looking to keep up the pressure on leaders Juventus.

17h50 - Half time in La Liga, where Aissa Mandi's Real Betis are holding Sporting Gijon 1-1.

17h40 - Coming up in 20 minutes we'll have the first Serie A game of the day, which sees Chievo host Roma. Mohamed Salah starts for the away team, while the hosts have Serge Gakpe and Mohamed Rabbas on their bench.

17h30 - Here are the other full time scores from the German top flight: Borussia Monchengladbach 2-2 Darmstadt, Bayern Munich 4-1 Freiburg, Eintracht Frankfurt 2-2 RB Leipzig, FC Koln 2-0 Mainz 05, Hamburger 2-1 Wolfsburg, Hertha Berlin 2-6 Bayer Leverkusen, Hoffenheim 0-0 Augsburg and Ingolstadt 1-1 Schalke 04.

17h25 - Done and dusted in the Bundesliga for the 2016/17 season and it seems that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's two goals in Borussia Dortmund's 4-3 win over Werder Bremen will see him finish as the league's leading scorer for the season!

17h20 - Sami Allagui has come off the bench and scored a penalty for Hertha Berlin, who trail 2-5 at home to Leverkusen. Naby Keita's RB Leipzig have allowed their lead to slip away and they are drawing 2-2 away to Frankfurt. Aubameyang has scored from the penalty spot to see Dortmund lead 4-3 against Werder Bremen!

17h10 - Kalou has provided an assist to see Hertha pull one back against Leverkusen, it's now 1-4, while Aubameyang's Dortmund have drawn level with Werder Bremen at 3-3 thanks to a second goal from Marco Reus.

17h05 - Salomon Kalou's Hertha Berlin now trail 0-4 at home to Leverkusen, Aubameyang's Dortmund are 2-3 down against Werder Bremen and Bentaleb's Schalke are a man down in holding Marvin Matip's Ingolstadt 1-1.

16h50 - Kicking off in 10 minutes is a La Liga clash between Sporting Gijon and Real Betis. No African starters, but the latter have Algerian Aissa Mandi on their bench.

16h45 - Naby Keita's RB Leipzig have doubled their lead at Eintracht Frankfurt, they're now 2-0 up.

16h40 - It's now 2-2 early in the second half between Aubameyang's Dortmund and Werder Bremen.

16h35 - Back underway in the Bundesliga matches. Can Aubameyang add to his tally and overhaul Robert Lewandowski at the top of the scorers' charts? Both players currently sit on 30 goals...

16h20 - Half time in the Bundesliga matches, where Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored to make it 2-1 to Borussia Dortmund over Lamine Sane's Werder Bremen. 16h00 - Naby Keita's RB Leipzig have taken a 1-0 lead away to Eintracht Frankfurt, with Marcel Sabitzer scoring the opening goal.

15h50 - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's Borussia Dortmund and Salomon Kalou's Hertha Berlin both trail 1-0 at home to Werder Bremen and Bayer Leverkusen respectively.

15h45 - The other four Bundesliga matches, which don't feature African starters, are Borussia Monchengladbach v Darmstadt, Bayern Munich v SC Frieburg, Hoffenheim v Augsburg and Hamburger v Wolfsburg.

15h40 - Salomon Kalou starts for Hertha Berlin at home to Bayer Leverkusen, and Marvin Matip starts for Ingolstadt at home to Schalke 04, who have Nabil Bentaleb in their XI. In fact Schalke already have a 1-0 lead, with Donis Avdijaj scoring in the second minute.

15h30 - The final round of Bundesliga matches kicks off right now and five of the nine matches feature African starters. First off, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang starts for Borussia Dortmund at home to Werder Bremen, who have Lamine Sane in their XI.
