Zambia are chasing their second U20 FIFA World Cup, Group C win as they meet Iran on Wednesday in South Korea.

The Junior Chipolopolo are still enjoying their 2-1 win over Portugal in their opening group stage encounter on Sunday.

Coming to this highly anticipated clash, the U20 African Champions are on a high as they want to bag their second win.

On the log table, Zambia have three points and occupy the top spot in the group above Iran who also bagged a win over Costa Rica.

A win over the Iranian outfit places them in a better position to book a spot in the knockout stages for the global junior showpiece.

Coach Beston Chambeshi will again call on midfielder Edward Chilufya and striker Fashion Sakala, who both scored for the Southern Africans on Sunday.

"It’s nice to start with a win. We prepared very well and we hope to maintain the discipline,” said Chambeshi.

“I was not happy with the midfield, it was porous and we spoke about it at half-time, after that we picked up, so I am happy with the win and how we have started.”

Looking at the opposition, Iran are also in high spirits heading to this encounter and will hope to put a stop to the Zambians.

Having defeated Costa Rica 1-0, they now occupy the second spot with three points from the win and will be out to hand Zambia a stunning loss.

Coach Amir Hossein Peyrovani will want to see the same application from his youngsters and ensure they are clinical in front of goal.

A spot in the Last 16 is up for grabs and Iran will want to keep their momentum going and remain disciplined when it comes to defending.

Keeping a clean sheet is their mission come Wednesday, but they are aware that Zambia poses a huge threat for their knockout spot chances.

Their goalscorer against Costa Rica, Mehdi Mehdikhani will have to carry the team's hopes and help the team beat Zambia.

The match will be staged at Jeju World Cup Stadium in Seogwipo at 10:00 (CAT).
