Highlands Park will be fighting for their Absa Premiership survival when they host Mamelodi Sundowns at the Makhulong Stadium on 27 May 2017, kick-off at 15h00.

Highlands recorded their 11th draw of the season when they held Baroka FC 0-0 away on May 17.

The Tembisa-based side has claimed 18 points from 14 home matches this season.

The Lions of the North are placed 15th on the Absa Premiership log with 26 points from 29 matches.

Sundowns were dethroned as league champions after they were held 2-2 at home by Maritzburg United on May 17, their third draw in the space of four matches.

The Tshwane side has claimed 26 points from 14 away matches this season.

The Brazilians are placed second on the Absa Premiership log with 56 points from 29 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Highlands and Sundowns have met in just one previous top flight league match.

That encounter took place earlier this season, with the Brazilians claiming an emphatic 5-0 home win.
