Maritzburg United and Bloemfontein Celtic will wrap up their Absa Premiership campaigns with a match at Harry Gwala Stadium on 27 May 2017, kick-off at 15h00.

Maritzburg played to a second successive draw when they held Mamelodi Sundowns 2-2 away on May 17.

The KwaZulu-Natal side has claimed 21 points from 14 home matches this season.

The Team of Choice is placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with 37 points from 29 matches.

Celtic have gone eight league matches without a win after they were held 0-0 at home by Free State Stars on May 17.

The Bloemfontein side has claimed 16 points from 14 away matches this season.

Phunya Sele Sele are placed 12th on the Absa Premiership log with 28 points from 29 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Maritzburg and Celtic have met in 21 league matches since 2005/06.

The Team of Choice has claimed seven wins compared to five for Phunya Sele Sele, while nine matches have been drawn.

Maritzburg have won three of their 10 home league matches against Celtic, suffering three defeats in the process.

When the sides met earlier this season, the Team of Choice claimed a 1-0 away win in Bloemfontein.

League matches between these clubs last produced a home winner back in the 2012/13 season when United won 2-1 in Pietermaritzburg.
