Smouha SC will be out to pull clear in what is a tightly contested Group C when they welcome Al-Hilal Al-Ubayyid in a 2017 Caf Confederations Cup clash at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 23h00 CAT.
Four teams are tied on three points apiece in Group C with the perks of home advantage clearly evident in the early stages of the competition.
Smouha, Al-Hilal, ZESCO United and Recreativo do Libolo all won their respective home games in the opening two rounds of the competition.
The Blue Wave fell to a 1-0 defeat in Ndola in their opening game of the campaign before bouncing back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Angolan outfit Libolo. Ahmed Raouf and Islam Mohareb on target for the Egyptians.
Similarly, Al-Hilal registered a home win in their last outing - Cheick Moukoro on target to bag all three points following an opening round defeat in Calulo.
Fighting in mid-table in their respective leagues, both teams will be eyeing some reprieve in Africa's second-tier continental competition.
