Zanaco FC are set to be without midfielder Augustine Mulenga in their CAF Champions League, Group D tie against Cameroon's Coton Sport due to suspension.
Mulenga has been suspended after accumulating two yellow cards and coach Mumamba Numba has confirmed the development.
Speaking to the media, Numba said the player's unavailability is a major setback, but they are ready for battle.
“This is a setback because he [Mulenga] has his own attributes as a player. We will have to find another player to replace him, we will look to Reuben Lyanga to help us,” he said to the Daily Mail.
DEFENDING CHAMPS BAG A POINT IN CONAKRY
“We are targeting winning this game. It is very important that we collect maximum points at home.
"When we go away, we can afford to draw, not at home. This is why this game is very crucial to us.
“We are facing a team with massive experience. The game will be tough. We need to work hard for us to collect all the points.
“Our target is to qualify to the next round. There is a long way to go but we need to take care of the games at home.
“The truth of the matter is that our opponents are coming here [Lusaka] to make this difficult for us. They are yet to win a game in this group, we must therefore be very careful.”
The National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka is the venue for the contest and it is set to get underway at 15:00.
