Malawi will lock horns with Comoros in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 14h30 CAT.
The Flames are hoping to make their return to the AFCON finals since 2010. They failed to reach the knockout stages in Angola.
Malawi were stunned by Madagascar in the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers. Madagascar beat the Flames 2-0 on aggregate in April 2017.
Frank Gabadinho Mhango is Malawi's dangerman and the striker will be keen to inspire his nation to victory over Comoros in the Group B encounter.
Meanwhile, Comoros are one of the African nations that have never qualified for the AFCON finals and they will be hoping to book their place in the 2019 tournament.
Les Coelecantes were in action against Togo in an international friendly on Sunday. Togo brushed aside Comoros 2-0 at the Stade Paul Le Cesne in France.
El Fardou Ben Nabouhane is the player to watch out for in the Comoros team. The forward will be eager to help his nation overcome Malawi in the Group B clash.
The other two teams in Group B are Cameroon and Morocco. The two sides will meet at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaounde on Saturday.
