Swaziland held Niger to a 0-0 draw in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group J match at the Stade General-Seyni-Kountche on Saturday.
The draw sees the Menas and Sihlangu Semnikati placed first and second respectively on the Group J standings.
The Menas went into this encounter as the favourites having participated in the AFCON finals twice in 2012 and 2013.
However, they were frustrated by the Sihlangu Semnikati, who have never qualified for the AFCON finals, in the first-half.
The score was 0-0 between Niger and Swaziland during the half-time break under the scorching heat of the sun in the city of Niamey.
A quite second-half followed as the two sides struggled to break the deadlock in the opening game of Group J.
Nevertheless, the match ended in a goalless stalemate - with Swaziland securing an important away point against Niger.
