Togo captain and striker Emmanuel Adebayor says he had some great experiences playing for big clubs in the English Premier League (EPL).
The well-travelled striker, who currently plays for Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir, is now enoying his stint at the Super Lig side.
Prior to joining Palace, Adebayor had turned out for Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur as well as Manchester City in the EPL.
The 33-year-old made 15 appearances for Palace - netting once in the process and he has since stated that he regrets moving to the London-based club.
"I had some great experiences in England in clubs who are among the best in the country," Adebayor said on SuperSport.com.
"The only error that I made was to sign for Crystal Palace in January 2016.
"I did it just to please my entourage, who were saying to me: 'Manu, you have to start playing again!' It was the worst decision of my career."
Adebayor made 11 appearances for Basaksehir and he netted six times in the Turkish Super Lig during the 2016/17 campaign.
