Dennis Dauda, the vice captain of CAPS United, has expressed his confidence that his side can defeat Al Ahly Tripoli in the CAF Champions League tomorrow night.

The Zimbabweans will take on their Libyan hosts in Sfax, Tunisia, in a Matchday 4 Group B clash.

CAPS were beaten 4-2 at home by Al Ahli earlier this month, a result which pushed them to the bottom of the standings.

However, with just two points covering the four teams in the group, there’s still plenty to play for.

“If we focus and keep our heads up I think we can conquer. Tripoli are not a team that you can say is invincible,” Dauda told Zimbabwe’s Chronicle.

“We can compete with that team. I don’t want to take this an an excuse but the last time they beat us here [in Harare] we had a depleted team.

“We were missing some of our players through injury but this time we have an almost full team.

“So it must be a very competitive game and we are confident we can get the three points.”

The match will be held at the Stade Taieb Mhiri, with kick-off set for 22h00 CAT.
