Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of the 2017 CAF Champions League Group D clash between Coton Sport and Zanaco from the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua, on Wednesday 21 June 2017.

It ends 1-0 to Zanaco, who have taken a massive stride toward the quarterfinals with this victory! It's tough on Coton Sport, who probably deserved more from the match, but that's football for you.

Zanaco on the counter attack, Sakala with a chance... this time he buries it with a shot across the face of goal!
Clear chance for Sakala, but Omossola makes a superb save and then gets up to keep out the rebound from Kwame!
Zanaco with a rare chance (in recent minutes) to test Coton's defence as Bwenbya goes for goal from a free kick, but once again his effort is poor.
Another confident claim from Nsabata, with Coton now throwing long balls into the Zanaco box at will.
Coton's final change sees Ngah Wanja make way for Harouna Mahamat.
Coton Sport skipper Ewonde goes into the book after chopping down Sakala.

Coton with a free kick just to the right of the penalty area. Ngah Wanja whips in the cross, but Nsabata makes a confident catch.

Kombous heads a loose ball just wide of the mark, before Coton make another change by introducing Moise Sakava Sangola in place of Batai.
Another change for the visitors sees Attram Kwame replace Nyaende, with Zanaco looking to get some more energy in attack.
Coton's first change sees Mayakmon make way for Kamilou Daouda.
Much better play from Coton, who have found a new confidence in the last few minutes, though their fans groan loudly when Bongyang punts an aimless ball forward to give away possession.
Mvondo shoots for goal direct from a long-range free kick, but it's easy pickings for Nsabata.
Coton speed away on the counter through Ngah Wanja, but his attempt to stab a shot with the outside of his right foot is blocked by Nsabata!
It's been all Zanaco in the second half, the hosts have hardly had a touch. But can the Zambians find a way through this Coton Sport defence?
Sakala with a great chance at close range, but Omossola makes a sharp save at his near post to keep the scores level!
Zanaco skipper Tembo is booked for a nasty-looking collision in the middle of the park.
Zanaco make their first change as Boyd Musonda replaces Mpiana.
Mbewe with a half chance from a tight angle, but he skews his shot high and wide.
Back underway in the second half, no changes from either team at the break.

Goalless at the break. Zanaco have looked the better team, but Coton have grown in confidence and had the best chance to open the scoring, with Romaric missing a great opportunity 21 minutes in.
Coton with their first corner kick of the match, but Bongyang can't quite get a clean header on the ball.
Bwenbya with a truly awful effort at a long range free kick which nearly travels out of the stadium. The less said about that, the better.
Closing in on half time here in Garoua, it's looking like a stalemate through the first stanza.
Patient play from Zanaco, who are knocking the ball around nicely despite the pitch looking a little heavy and bumpy.
Zanaco beginning to turn the screw in attack, but Coton are holding on thus far.
Sakala with a clear shooting chance in the penalty area but his effort is straight at the goalkeeper!
Nice play from Pitroipa, as he turns away from a defender and makes space for a shot, but his effort skips wide of goalkeeper Nsabata's left-hand post.
Coton captain Ewonde is lucky not to be booked for a cynical tackle from behind in the middle of the park.
Coton sitting quite deep in defence as they look to frustrate the Zambians, who are pushing and probing across the width of the pitch to try and find a way through.
Past the midway point of the first half, still goalless here in Garoua.
Pitroipa with a glaring chance to open the scoring after his late run is picked out by a fine cross from Kaou, but he somehow slices his shot wide!
Now the Coton goalkeeper makes a mess of trying to catch a cross and Sakala's effort on goal is cleared off the line by Bongyang!
Zanaco's Sakala latches onto a loose ball near the edge of the box and shoots on target, but Omossola gets behind the ball to make a comfortable save.
Zanaco with the first corner kick of the match, but it's well dealt with by the hosts as Batai heads clear.
The first shot in anger comes from Coton's Pitroipa, but his effort from outside the penalty flies high and wide.
Super sliding tackle from Bwenbya to cut short an attack from the hosts, who are now looking to use their pace out wide to greater effect.
Better play from Coton Sport as they look to get the likes of Pitroipa and Jean Joseph on the ball, but Zanaco still look comfortable in these early stages.
Unconvincing at the back from Coton, as a free kick from out wide for Zanaco causes a problem in the penalty area, but the hosts get it clear in the end.
Zanaco enjoying plenty of possession early on, but the teams are still finding their footing in the game.
