The Botswana Football Association (BFA) have stated that they will announce the new Zebras head coach after the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
Oris Boyo Radipotsane was appointed caretaker coach after English mentor Peter Butler left the Botswana coaching job earlier this month.
The Zebras are scheduled to face Zambia in the 2017 COSAFA Cup quarter-final clash in Rusteburg, South Africa on Saturday.
BFA public relations officer Tumi Mpatane says Radipotsane will also be in charge of the team during the CHAN qualifiers.
“Oris has a chance to prove himself," Mpatane told Mmegi.
"He has been around for a long time. He is taking the team to COSAFA, he will have to use the chance.
"We will, however, name the new gaffer after the CHAN games and whoever is interested would forward their CVs after then."
Botswana will face South Africa in the CHAN qualifier next month.
