Botswana FA unveil new Zebras coach Bright

New Botswana head coach Major David Bright has called up two Township Rollers players Segolane Boy and Edwin Olerile.

The veteran tactician was unveiled as the new Zebras head coach at a press conference which took place in Gaborone, Botswana on Monday.

Botswana will take on South Africa in the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier first-leg clash in Francistown, Botswana on Saturday.

The match is scheduled to take place at the Francistown Sports Complex and Bright has decided to beef up the Zebras squad.

"We had requested the presence of Segolame Boy, Thabang Mosige, Tebogo Sembowa (however sustained an Injury yesterday) and Edwin Olerile," Bright told the media.

Boy, an attacking midfielder by trade, and Olerile, a defender-cum-midfielder, could miss the 2017 Bokone Bophirima Maize Cup which will take place on Saturday.

Rollers will face South African giants Kaizer Chiefs in the Maize Cup semi-finals, and the winner will face Free State Stars or Platinum Stars in the final.

All matches will take place at the James Motlatsi Stadium in Orkney, South Africa on Saturday, 15 July 2017.
