Zimbabwe will hope to continue with their fine form when they meet Namibia in the 2018 CAF African Championships qualifier on Sunday.

The Warriors are fresh from their 2017 COSAFA Cup glory and will now target continuity to beat the Brave Warriors.

Although facing the Namibians away will present challenges, coach Rahman Gumbo will be staked with leading the side and get their campaign off on a high en route to Kenya next year.

Zimbabwe are fresh from a 3-1 win over Zambia in the COSAFA final hosted in South Africa and are the new regional champions.

On the other hand, Ricardo Manetti's side did not done well in the regional tournament in Rustenburg and he will want to see a better showing from his men.

They lost to Lesotho and South Africa in the COSAFA tournament, but beat Swaziland.

In two countries previous two meetings, Zimbabwe claimed two wins - a 3-2 win and 2-0 victory.

The encounter will be staged at 16:00 (CAT) at the Sam Nujoma Stadium and the second leg will be staged next weekend, 23 July in Harare.
