Guinea-Bissau will host Guinea in the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier Zone West A first-leg match at the Estadio 24 de Setembro, Conakry on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.

Djurtus have never qualified for the CHAN finals and the West African side will be looking to make history by qualifying for the 2018 tournament finals.

Guinea-Bissau faced Gambia in an international friendly match on Monday. Djurtus defeated the Scorpions 1-0 in Bissau.

Meanwhile, Guinea made their first appearance in the CHAN finals in 2016. They were beaten 5-4 on penalties by DR Congo after a 1-1 draw in the semi-finals.

Alseny Bangoura and Ibrahima Sankhon, who are on the books of Horoya AC, will be looking to inspire the National Elephants to victory over Djurtus.

The winner on aggregate between Guinea-Bissau and Guinea will face Sierra Leone or Senegal in the second-round of the qualifying campaign.

Referee Maudo Jallow, who hails from Gambia, will be in charge of the encounter between Guinea-Bissau and Guinea.
