Sierra Leone will face off with Senegal in the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier Zone West A first-leg game at the National Stadium in Freetown on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 18h30 CAT.

The Leone Stars have never participated in the CHAN finals and the West African side will be looking to qualify for the 2018 finals.

Alfred Sakila, Sorie Barrie and Anderson Tongor are some of the players that have been called up ahead of the encounter with Senegal.

Meanwhile, Senegal qualified for the first two CHAN finals (in 2009 and 2011). Their best finish was when they were beaten in the third-place playoff match in 2009.

Pape Seydou N'Diaye and Arial Mendy have will be some of the Lions of Teranga's key players when they take on the Leone Stars in Sierra Leone.

The winner on aggregate between Sierra Leone and Senegal will take on either Guinea-Bissau or Guinea in the final round of the qualifying campaign.

Referee Manuel Timas, who hails from Cape Verde, will be in charge of the encounter between Sierra Leone and Senegal in Freetown.
