German Bundesliga side Hannover 96's manager Horst Heldt says they are not going to push beyond their limit for Nigerian striker Anthony Ujah.

The 26-year-old is currently on the books of Chinese Super League side Liaoning Whowin having joined the club from German side Werder Bremen in July, 2016.

Negotiations between Hannover and Whowin are reportedly on-going as the player is said to be open to returning to the German Bundesliga.

”Let’s see if it works, we need patience," Heldt said on Own Goal Nigeria.

"We are not going to push beyond our limit for any player.

"We can’t afford to discredit the ones we have because of one player."

Ujah, who was born in Ugbokolo, Nigeria, played for Abuja FC and Warri Wolves in his home country, before moving to Norwegian club Lillestrøm in 2010.

The seven-cap Nigeria international has also played for 1. FSV Mainz and FC Koln in Germany.
