Paul Mucureezi scored four goals as Uganda eased to a 5-1 win over South Sudan in a 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Central East Zone Second Round, second leg qualifier on Saturday.
Derrick Nsibambi opened the scoring for the hosts in the 33rd minute, before Mucureezi turned on the style.
The forward bagging his first two minutes shy of the break. His second and third came in quick succession following the interval, but he didn't stop there as he added a fourth to his tally in the 57th minute.
The Bright Stars managed a mere consolation at the Phillip Omondi Stadium in Kampala in the final minute of the game, but in all it was a very commanding display by the Cranes.
The first-leg in Juba ended in a goalless stalemate.
Uganda will face either Tanzania or Rwanda in the final round of qualifying.
The winner in the two legged tie will book their place at the competition in Kenya.
