Former Polokwane City head coach Luc Eymael has been contacted by the Uganda Football Association (FUFA) regarding the country's head coaching position, according to KickOff.com.
With reports persisting that Milutin Sredojevic will return to Orlando Pirates in coming weeks, the Cranes have started their search for 'Micho's replacement with Eymael revealing that he is in line for the job.
Eymael, who is not afraid to speak his mind, told the South African publication that his CV is with FUFA as they contemplate life after the coach that guided them to a first AFCON appearance in 38 years.
MILUTIN SREDOJEVIC SECRETLY LEFT UGANDA FOR SA
"They [FUFA] already contacted me yesterday [Wednesday], in case of separation with 'Micho' [Sredojevic]," Eymael told KickOff.com. "[But] it's not yet done with 'Micho'."
"If they asked for my file [CV], it is for that [head coach] and not to pump balls," he continued. "I can't say more than what I just told you - Micho's separation is not yet finalised with Fufa.
"My file is there, like I told you. It seems they are interested, but I can't say more now."
