Zimbabwean forward Mitchelle Katsvairo has reportedly secured a move to Township Rollers from Kaizer Chiefs on loan.
The 27-year-old attacker failed to live up to expectations in his first season with Chiefs and the South African club decided to make him available on loan.
Botswana giants Rollers have since decided to sign Katsvairo, who helped Zimbabwe win the 2017 COSAFA Cup in North West, South Africa.
This is according to Botswana publication, Weekend Post official website:
"The two teams concluded the agreement last weekend according to sources. The Zimbabwean will have his wage paid by Chiefs with Rollers concerned only about his accommodation.
"The forward is expected to enhance the team’s attacking option after the plans of signing Tanzanian striker Rashid Mandawa miscarried," a statement read on the site.
The same publication contacted Rollers communication manager Bafana Pheto for a comment on Katsvairo's loan deal, but he declined to discuss the issue.
”Check Jagdisgh - he could be aware, as of me I’m oblivious of anything of that sort," he said.
Repeated attempts to solicit comment from Rollers club president Jagdish Shah by the publication could not materialize as his mobile number was not going through until the time of print.
Katsvairo joined Chiefs in July, 2016 having helped Chicken Inn clinch the 2015 Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League (ZPSL) title.
