Mamelodi Sundowns have officially completed the signing of Ghana international goalkeeper Razak Brimah on a free transfer.

The former CD Tenerife and Córdoba shot-stopper, who last played in the Spanish Segunda Division, joins the reigning CAF Champions League champions on a reported three-year deal.

Brimah, 30, will face stiff competition for the number 1 spot at the club with Denis Onyango and Kennedy Mweene outstanding goalkeepers in their own right.

The Black Stars first choice at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, the goal-minder missed the decisive spot-kick as the Ivory Coast were crowned African champions following a 9-8 penalty shoot-out win over their West African rivals.

Brimah's arrival will most likely force head coach Pitso Mosimane to part ways with one of his foreign stars.
