Martizburg United have announced the signing of Siyanda Xulu on a three-year deal.

Xulu, 25, joins the Team of Choice following a disappointing spell with Kaizer Chiefs on his return from Europe - where he played for Russian club Rostov.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns centre back hardly featured for the Amakhosi during his two-year stay at the club, and joins the KwaZulu-Natal outfit with a point to prove.

Born in Durban, Xulu made his mark at Mamelodi Sundowns before joining Rostov in 2012 - most notable winning the Russian Cup in the 2013/14 season.

Moreover, Maritzburg United have confirmed the signings of Richard Ofori, Jethren Barr, Rushine De Reuck, Motsie Matima, Mxolisi Kunene and Liam Youlley.
