Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen says their mission is to bag their first 2017/18 Absa Premiership win as early as possible.
Abafana Bes'thende are yet to bag a win in the new 2017/18 Premier Soccer League campaign as they lost to Bidvest Wits in the MTN8 Cup competition a week ago.
However, meeting his former bosses in Bloemfontein Celtic, Larsen says they are ready for the clash which he says will not be easy.
The Durban-based club is fresh from a 1-1 draw against Ajax Cape Town away last Saturday, but the former midfielder wants a victory at home.
“Yeah look, we are ready for this one. There are no easy games this season as you saw. We are fresh from a big game against Ajax,” said Larsen.
“Here comes another one. I think on what I saw of Celtic against Chiefs, they have assembled a good squad.
“This will not be an easy season because teams have strengthened their squads, but we showed our quality against Wits and Ajax, that we are no pushovers.
“Our aim is to get our first win as quickly as possible and I am sure we will win this one because we had a good record at home last season.”
The match against Siwelele will be staged on Wednesday night at Princess Magogo Stadium, getting underway at 19:30 (CAT).
