Paris Saint-Germain’s Ivorian defender Serge Aurier is on the transfer radar of Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur.
The Elephants man has been linked with a move away from the French Ligue 1 giants this European summer, having fallen behind Dani Alves in the pecking order.
He was left out of PSG’s preseason tour to America and was not present in their matchday squads for the opening Ligue 1 matches.
And Tottenham are in need of an experienced right-back, having sold Kyle Walker to rivals Manchester City.
However, any potential move to England depends on Aurier’s appeal against a two-year suspended sentence he was given for assaulting a police officer in 2016.
As a result of the sentence, the Ivorian is banned from entering the UK - something PSG discovered last November when he couldn’t join his teammates for their Champions League clash away to Arsenal.
The Paris side will need to sell several players for big fees in the next couple of windows to meet Financial Fair Play standards, following their colossal €200m-plus signing of Neymar from Barcelona.
