18h55 - Lassana Coulibaly scored for Angers but his goal was cancelled out as they played to a 1-1 draw against Yves Bissouma and Nicolas Pepe's Lille in the French Ligue 1

18h50 - Egypt's Mohamed Salah and Senegal's Sadio Mane scored a goal a piece as Liverpool thrashed Arsenal 4-0 in the English Premier League.

18h40 - Yassine Ayoub and Zakaria Labyad's Utrecht have lost 2-1 against Groningen in the Dutch Eredivisie.

18h36 - Liverpool have scored again and now lead 4-0 against Arsenal in the English Premier League.

18h35 - Yves Bissouma and Nicolas Pepe's Lille have managed to level matters against Angers and cancelled out Lassana Coulibaly's opener with that French Ligue 1 game locked at 1-1.

18h25 - Mali's Lassana Coulibaly has found the back of the net for Angers who lead 1-0 against Lille in the French Ligue 1.

18h15 - Egypt's Mohamed Salah has found the back of the net for Liverpool who now lead 3-0 against Arsenal in the English Premier League.

18h10 - Yassine Ayoub and Zakaria Labyad's Utrecht have pulled a goal back and now trail 2-1 against Groningen in the Dutch Eredivisie.

17h55 - Ghana's Afriyie Acquah and Cameroon's Nicolas N'Koulou are in the starting XI for Torino against Sassuolo who have Ghana's Alfred Duncan in their run on team in the Italian Serie A match which kicks-off at 18h00.

17h40 - Senegal's Sadio Mane has found the back of the net for Liverpool who lead 2-0 against Arsenal in the English Premier League.

17h30 - Full-Time in the German Bundesliga: Naby Keita (Guinea) played the full 90 minutes as RP Leipzig thumped 10-man SC Freiburg 4-1 in East Germany.

17h25 - Plenty of African interest in the French Ligue 1 tie between Angers & Lille. Lassana Coulibaly (Mali) involved from the onset for the hosts with Nicolas Pepe (Ivory Coast) and Yves Bissouma (Mali) starting on the opposite end of the pitch. Plenty of African talent to come off the bench later on...

17h15 - Positive start by Liverpool at Anfield and Salah is guilty of missing a gilt-edged chance for the hosts. The Egyptian denied from point-blank range by Petr Cech.

17h10 - Andre Onana (Cameroon) kept a clean-sheet as Ajax Amsterdam beat Venlo 2-0 in a Dutch Eredivisie match this afternoon.

17h00 - Kick-off at Anfield on Merseyside and Wembley in London!

16h50 - Lebogang Phiri's Guingamp have recorded their second win of the French Ligue 1 season - beating Strasbourg 2-0.

16h40 - Joel Matip (Cameroon), Mohamed Salah (Egypt) and Sadio Mane (Senegal) start for Liverpool who are at home to Arsenal at Anfield in the late afternoon kick-off. At the same time, Tottenham Hotspur host Burnley at Wembley, Nigeria linked Dele Alli starts.

16h30 - Fellow Africans, Mustapha Diallo (Senegal) and Jordan Ikoko (DR Congo), linked up for Guingamp's opener against Strasbourg in the French top division. 20 minutes remaining.

16h25 - Full-Time in the English Premier League: Chelsea 2-0 Everton, West Brom 1-1 Stoke City

16h20 - Half-Time in the German Bundesliga: Leipzig 0-1 Freiburg (Florian Niederlechner)

16h15 - Ramadan Sobhi (Egypt) has been introduced by Stoke City with the clash at the Hawthorns locked at 1-1.

16h10 - Peter Crouch has made an immediate impact off the bench for Stoke City who have pulled level away to West Brom. Back at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea continue to dominate as Victor Moses picks up an unnecessary caution.

16h00 - Allan Nyom teed up Jay Rodriquez for West Brom's opener at the Hawthorns. Tony Pulis' troops move up to second on the live Premier League log, having won their opening two fixtures of the season. The Baggies are yet to concede a goal.

- Goalless at the break in the French Ligue clash between  Guingamp and Strasbourg.

15h40 - Ajax Amsterdam, who have made a disappointing start to the 2017-18 season,   have just taken the lead away to Venlo in the Dutch Eredivisie. Hakim Ziyech (Morocco) and Andre Onana (Cameroon) involved from the onset for the club.

15h25  - Half-Time in the English Premier League:

Chelsea 2-0 Everton; West Brom 0-0 Stoke City

15h15 - Guinea international Naby Keita starts for RB Leipzig in their German Bundesliga clash against SC Freiburg. The dynamic midfielder was heavily linked with a move away from the club, but transfer rumours seemed to have stalled surrounding the 22-year-old.

15h05 - Chelsea have gone 1-0 up at Stamford Bridge. Victor Moses involved down the right flank as Cesc Fabregas ultimately puts the ball in the back of the net.

14h55 - Guingamp and Strasbourg kick-off today's French Ligue 1 action with no fewer than five Africans involved from the onset. Lebogang Phiri (South Africa), Mustapha Diallo (Senegal) and Jordan Ikoko (DR Congo) host the duo of Jean-Eudes Aholou (Ivory Coast) & Kader Mangane (Senegal). 

14h45 - Further action to follow in France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and England with Arsenal taking on Liverpool later today. 

14h30 Kick-off in the early afternoon English Premier League fixtures: Chelsea vs Everton & West Brom vs Stoke City

Victor Moses starts for the Blues while Idrissa Gana Gueye of Senegal is included in the starting 11 for the visitors. African linked N'Golo Kante, Tiémoué Bakayoko and Charly Musonda also involved on the day.

Indomitable Lions forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting starts up front for the Potters with Ramadan Sobhi on the bench. Fellow Egyptian Ahmed Hegazy involved from the onset for the Baggies with Allan Nyom of Cameroon joining the burly centre back in defence.
