Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez

Leicester City’s Algerian star Riyad Mahrez has emerged as a surprise transfer target for Manchester United.
The Fennec Foxes player has made clear his desire to leave the club, handing in a transfer request at the end of last season.
Despite this, manager Craig Shakespeare has continued to select the North African winger in his starting XI and Mahrez has performed strongly in the famous blue shirt at the start of the 2017/18 season.
United, meanwhile, have been unable to land either of their primary winger targets, failing with bids for Gareth Bale and Ivan Perisic.
Manager Jose Mourinho had a first-hand view of Mahrez in action when United beat Leicester 2-0 in a Premier League clash last weekend.
And French outlet SFR Sport claim that the Portuguese manager wants the Red Devils to make a late bid for Mahrez.
The Algerian star has also been linked with Arsenal and Roma, though it seems most likely that he will stay one more season at the King Power Stadium.
Mahrez’s focus now will be on performing for Algeria in their 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Zambia.
The first match between the teams is set for Saturday at 15h00 CAT and AfricanFootball will carry LIVE coverage of the clash.
