Guinea have suffered a massive blow with news that Ibrahima Traoré will miss the country's back-to-back 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Libya.

German Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach, confirmed on Tuesday that the 29-year-old will be forced to watch from the sidelines for the foreseeable future after tearing a muscle in his right thigh.

The club announced that Traoré was supposed to travel to Conakry in preparation for Guinea's upcoming qualifiers, but that the trip was called off following examination.
