Latest information surrounding the future of Nigeria and Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa is that he is set to join Hull City on loan.
Sources close to AfricanFootball.com reveal that the Tigers are set to swoop on the Super Eagles international on a season-long loan deal.
“I was down at Hull City's training ground yesterday and spoke to manager Leonid Slutsky about Leicester striker Ahmed Musa, who he confirmed was a target,” said the source to AfricanFootball.com.
TRANSFER WINDOW SHOULD CLOSE LONG BEFORE INTERNATIONALS - WILMOTS
“He wasn't giving much away but I understand that move is likely to happen today (Thursday).
“The deal would be a season-long loan, which is quite a coup for Hull given he only signed for Leicester 12 months ago for £16.6m.
“He scored four times for Leicester but looked lively from what I saw and, in the Championship, I think he could really thrive.”
The 24-year-old Nigerian previously played under Slutsky for four years during his time at Russian giants CSKA Moscow.
Meanwhile, Musa is currently in camp with the Super Eagles ahead of their two-legged 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Cameroon this weekend.
