Following media reports that Orlando Pirates defender, Happy Jele was arrested for excessive speeding, the defender has issued an apology.

A statement released by the club on Monday, said the defender is apologetic over his recklessness on the road after driving at a speed of 223km/h.

The Buccaneers defender was arrested along the M1 in Sandton, Johannesburg driving in a BMW 135i and was later released on bail.

Jele admits he has disappointed many people including the club's supporters.
