South African international Phakamani Mahlambi has joined Egyptian giants Al Ahly on a long-term deal.
The 19-year-old forward has secured a move to Al Ahly from South African champions Bidvest Wits on a four-year deal.
Record eight-time African champions Al Ahly dislcosed that they had acquired Mahlambi's services on their official website.
A club statement read: "Phakamani Mahlambi, signed for the first team of football club Ahly for four seasons starting from the next season 2017-2018 in the presence of Major General Sherine Shams Executive Director of the club and Dr. Essam Siraj Commercial Director and Contracting.
"Mahlambi was present at the club's headquarters on the island Thursday evening and was present at the team which was held today at the stadium."
The talented forward helped Wits win the 2016/17 ABSA Premiership title and 2016 MTN8 Cup trophy.
He represented South Africa at the 2015 CAF Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Senegal.
