19h00 - Full-Time at the Liberty Stadium and Newcastle United have claimed a 1-0 win over Swansea City. Good day for Christian Atsu and Mohamed Diame in South Wales.

18h55 - Bertrand Traore played 89 minutes as Lyon beat Lebogang Phiri's Guingamp 2-1 in a French Ligue 1 clash.

18h45 - Chadrac Akolo has  pulled Stuttgart level at Schalke. 1-1 at the interval in the German Bundesliga clash.

18h35 - Newcastle United with the sucker punch as Magpies skipper Jamaal Lascelles powers home a header from a corner-kick.

18h30 - Wilfried Bony makes his way onto the pitch for his second Swansea City debut. Mohamed Diame is also on the pitch now - plenty of African talent on display!

18h25 - Mubarak Wakaso is on the bench for Alaves who are away to Celta Vigo in the Spanish La Liga.

18h20 - Christian Atsu has made his way onto the pitch - still goalless at the Liberty Stadium. Tammy Abraham with the best chance thus far, his chance cleared off the line.

18h15 - Early strike for Schalke as Nabil Bentaleb finds the back of the net from the spot to put the Royal Blues 1-0 up against Stuttgart.

18h10 - Not a day Franck Kessie will reflect on fondly as AC Milan suffer a 4-1 defeat away to Lazio. Victory moves the hosts up to third place on the Italian Serie A table.

18h05 - Ikani Williams with two assists as Bilbao beat Girona 2-0 in the Spanish La Liga.

17h55 - Half-Time in South Wales: Swansea City 0-0 Newcastle United. All set for a Wilfried Bony or Christian Atsu winner from the bench?

17h45 - Plenty of African interest in the Serie A clash between Benevento and Torino. Raman Chibsah starts for the hosts with Nicolas N'Koulou & Joel Obi involved from the onset for the visitors.

17h35 - Full-Time in the German Bundesliga where Werder Bremen and Hertha Berlin have played to a 1-1 stalemate.

16h45 - Plenty of African interest in the French Ligue 1 clash between Lyon & Guingamp. Bertrand Traore starts for the hosts with Abdoul Camara, Mustapha Diallo and Jordan Ikoko all involved from the onset for the visitors.

16h30 - Michael Olunga is among three Africans on the bench for Girona who are away to to Ahtletic Bilbao in the Spanish La Liga. Inaki Williams starts for the hosts.

16h25 - Full-Time at Turf Moor and it ends in defeat for Crystal Palace. Burnley holding on for a 1-0 win.

16h20 - Wilfried Bony starts on the bench for Swansea City with fellow African Jordan Ayew - having recovered from illness - to lead the line against Newcastle United. Ayew's Ghana teammate Christian Atsu is on the bench for the Magpies - Mohamed Diame also among the subs.

16h10 - Ivory Coast international Franck Kessie involved from the onset for AC Milan who are away to Lazio in the Serie A. The hosts without Balde Keita Diao who completed a move to Monaco late last month.

16h00 - Surprise call by Frank De Boer who has introduced little known Levi Lumeka as Palace continue to search for the equaliser.

Half-Time scores in the Italian Serie A: Atalanta 1-1 Sassuolo; Cagliari 1-0 Crotone; Udinese 1-0 Genoa; Verona 0-3 Fiorentina

15h50 - Half-Time in France where St.Etienne and Angers are deadlocked at 1-1.

15h45 - From bad to worse for Adel Taarabt's Genoa who have been reduced to 10-men 15 minutes before the interval.

15h35 - Dream start for Fiorentina who are 3-0 up at Verona with a half-hour played. Khouma Babacar on the bench for Viola who look sure to grab all three points.

15h30 - Half-Time at Turf Moor & there is more bad news for Jeffery Schupp and Co as Crystal Palace find themselves a goal down at the interval.

15h20 - Forgotten man Adel Taarabt is currently in action for Genoa who find themselves a goal down away to Udinese in the Italian Serie A. Seko Fofana on the bench for the hosts.

15h15 - In Germany, Lamine Sane starts for Werder Bremen who are away to Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga.  Solomon Kalou (Ivory Coast) and Ishak Belfodil (Algeria) on the bench for their respective side's.

15h05 - Plenty of Italian Serie A action this afternoon. Four games just kicked-off, following Inter Milan's 2-0 win over Spal.

14h55 - In France, St Etienne & Angers are set to go head-to-head. No Florentin Pogba for the hosts with the Guinea international ruled out of action due to injury. Assane Diousse, though, does start.

As for the visitors, three Africans involved from the onset: Abdoulaye Bamba, Karl Toko Ekambi and captain Ismael Traore.

14h45 - We kick-off our coverage at Turf Moor where Burnley have taken an early lead against a struggling Crystal Palace outfit. Jeffery Schlupp and Timothy Fosu-Mensah involved from the onset for the Eagles. No Pape Souare, Bakary Sako or Wilfried Zaha for Palace,with the trio still nursing respective injuries.
