The Confederation of African Football (CAF) inspectors have arrived in Kenya.
The team is expected to inspect the facilities which will be used during the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals.
Herbert Mwachiro, Kenya's CHAN 2018 chief, has stated that newly constructed stadiums will handed over to the government in a month's time.
CAF vice-president Constant Omari Selemani is leading the inspection team that will visit training facilities and four stadiums.
"We are on top of things and ready for the inspection," Mwachiro was quoted on SuperSport.com.
"Construction work is going on all around the four stadiums, which should be ready and handed over to the government in a month's time."
The following countries have qualified for 2018 CHAN finals:

Burkina Faso
Cameroon
Congo-Brazzaville
Equatorial Guinea
Guinea
Ivory Coast
Kenya (hosts)
Libya
Mauritania
Morocco
Namibia
Nigeria
Sudan
Uganda
Zambia
The tournament is scheduled for January 12 to February, 2018. Rwanda hosted the 2016 CHAN finals and DR Congo won the competition.
