Zesco United coach wants improvement against SuperSport in Confed Cup

Zesco United coach Zlatko Krmpotic has urged his players to improve their performance when they meet South African side SuperSport United.

The Zambian Super League giants are on the road this week to honour their CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final assignment on Firday.

The Team Ya Ziko is fresh from a 3-2 loss against Zanaco FC in the league, but the coach wants a better showing.

“We must play better. After Zanaco’s first goal we played well for 20- 25 minutes. we need to prepare more for Supersport United. We have is it five days in which to recuperate,” said Krmpotic to the Zambian Football website.

”In regards to the league we still have a very good chance. Even in this match we had a good chance to win it.”

Zesco are fourth on the log with 46 points, just four points behind log leaders Zanaco who are on 50 points, but they have two games in hand while Zanaco have one.
