USM Alger will be hoping to claim a win as they visit Maputo's Ferroviario Da Beira on Saturday in their CAF Champions League quarter-final, first leg clash.
The Algerians will want to continue with their fine form in the group stages after finishing as group winners with 11 points from six matches.
However, meeting a team that has nothing to lose at home will bring challenges as the North Africans will want to reach the semi-finals.
Coach Paul Put led his troops to three wins in the group stages over Zamalek, Caps United and Al Ahli Tripoli.
Looking at the hosts, the Angolans will bank on their home ground advantage as they will want to book a spot in the next round.
Making their maiden appearance in the tournament, Ferroviario reached the knockout stages of the tournament by luck.
They managed to qualify after two Sudanese sides, Al Hilal Omdurman and Al Hilal Merreikh were suspended in the tournament in Group A.
In their group stage campaign, they managed to claim a two victories, two draws and as many losses from their six matches in the group – and finished with eight points including results against the Sudanese duo.
The first leg encounter will be staged at Estádio do Chiveve in Beira on Saturday at 15:00 (CAT).
