Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane has highlighted the importance of keeping things tight at the back as the Brazilians set their sights on successive CAF Champions League crowns.
The Tshwane giants play host to Wydad Casablanca in a first-leg quarterfinal clash on Sunday afternoon, eager to rectify their home record.
Sundowns failed to win a game at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in the group stages of this year's tournament - losing one and drawing two matches with the defending champions flourishing on their travels.
ASAMOAH GYAN: I AM NOT DONE
Mosimane believes that keeping a clean sheet this weekend is the most important factor. This will enable 'Downs to head to Casablanca in the driving seat, with 'Jingles' confident they can then do the job away from home.
"The worst result you can think for us this weekend is that if we don't score, they mustn't score," Mosimane said. "If it's a draw, it must never be a draw with goals. You get punished when people score against you at home."
"We have a team to play an away game because we do well in away games, but I would like to see Sundowns score and not concede here at home."
