Eric Bailly says he will be fulfilling a dream in the likely event that he makes his UEFA Champions League debut with Manchester United this evening.
The Elephants centre-back missed United’s win over FC Basel earlier this month due to suspension, but he is available for tonight’s match in Russia against CSKA Moscow.
Bailly is expected to partner Phil Jones in the heart of the Red Devils’ defence.
"With regards to the Champions League, I'm available," he told MUTV.
"My suspension has finished now and I am very happy. It's something I've been looking forward to so much. I am content and I hope I will be in the team."
Bailly added, "For me, it is very, very important because I've always dreamed of playing in the Champions League but I have only made the Europa League until now.
"My dream of the Champions League is about to come true. I am happy and I am mentally ready for the game."
The CSKA v Man United match will be played at the VEB Arena in Moscow, kick-off at 20h45 CAT.
