and the Gabon FA, according to the striker.

The Borussia Dortmund attacker missed the Panthers’ back-to-back 2018 World Cup qualifying matches against Ivory Coast in the last international window.

It was speculated that the player’s disappointment at being unable to move before the end of the transfer window in September prompted his stay-away from the national team.

However, the prolific goal scorer will be back to boost Gabon when they face Morocco in Casablanca on Sunday night for their penultimate Group C clash.

"I was clear with the federation and the coach, that it wasn't the moment for me," Aubameyang told Canal+ Afrique when questioned about his absence for the double-header against the Elephants.

"I was in a difficult place mentally, and then there was the transfer market.

"However, I am going to return to the squad for the next match. There will be no more disagreements about it,” he added.

Gabon still have an outside chance of qualifying for Russia 2018, as they sit just two points adrift of leaders Morocco with two rounds still to play.
