Burkina Faso international Jonathan Pitroipa has began training with French Ligue 2 outfit Paris FC.
The winger is currently a free-agent after parting ways with UAE Arabian Gulf League side Al-Nasr Dubai SC when his contract expired.
Paris have since confirmed that Pitrioipa is currently training with the team, but they stated that the 31-year-old player is not on trial.
A club statement: "After reaching various information, Paris FC have taken the decision to discuss the subject of Jonathan Pitroipa, who is currently training with the professional group.
"Jonathan Pitroipa approached Paris FC in order to request to train with the professional group with the sole aim of getting back in shape.
"The Burkina Faso international is not on trial. The club are happy to welcome the 69-capped Burkinabe international into the professional group to help him regain a good physical condition."
Before moving to UAE Arabian Gulf League side Al Jazira Club in 2014, Pitroipa was on the books of French Ligue 1 outfit Rennes.
He was not part of the Burkina Faso squad that lost 3-1 to South Africa in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification (CAF) Group D match in Johannesburg last weekend.
