The Kenyan Premier League has announced that Sofapaka FC head coach Sam Ssimbwa is the Best Coach in the KPL for August.
Ssimbwa beat Gor Mahia’s Dylan Kerr to bag the accolade that comes with a trophy and Ksh. 75,000 reward money courtesy of the sponsors.

Media reports indicate that the mentor received his award during a function held at Eastleigh Secondary School on Tuesday.
In August, Sofapaka won four of their five league matches and drew the other one.
They beat Muhoroni Youth, Thika United, Nakumatt FC and Nzoia Sugar before drawing 1-1 against Posta Rangers in their last match of the month.
Ssimbwa becomes the fifth winner of the monthly award this season and has previously worked in Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and lately Kenya.
