Botswana Defence Force (BDF) XI coach Letang Kgengwenyane was pleased to see his team overcome a stubborn Sankoyo Bush Bucks side.
Matebele registered a 2-0 win over Sankoyo in a Botswana Premier League (BPL) match which was played at the Molepolole Sports Complex on Saturday.
Mgcini Sibanda and Keeagile Kobe netted for BDF, who secured their second league victory of the season.
BDF gaffer Kgengwenyane believes that his side will be among the teams challenging for this season's BPL title.
"Defeating Sankoyo was not easy. They are a strong side," Kgengwenyane said.
"This season is going to be very competitive and unpredictable.
"We are going to be in the mix."
