Although he was unhappy when he was subbed against Al Ittihad, Al Ahly striker Emad Meteb says he is on good terms with coach Hossam El-Badry.
The veteran striker was seen throwing away his training bib in a show of disagreement with his coach’s substitution decision against Al Ittihad in the Egyptian Premier League last week
However, the 34-year old striker was included in the CAF Champions League squad to face Etoile Sahel and featured in their 6-2 semifinal win.

Meteb came on in the second stanza to replace Junior Ajayi.
“There is no crisis with Hossam El-Badry. I respect him very much and there is nothing that affects our relationship,” he said to the BBC.
“There may be a difference of views on some things but our relationship has not been affected by any difference of views.
“The circumstances and outcome of the match allowed me to play. I always want to play and have an impact with the team.”
