Ghana’s Black Queens were beaten 8-0 by their French counterparts in an international friendly played in Reims on Monday night.

Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s side were completely outplayed by ‘Les Bleues’ at the Stade Auguste-Delaune II.

Amandine Henry racked up a hat-trick for the hosts, while Viviane Asseyi found the back of the net twice, to add to goals from Ouleymata Sarr, Eugenie Le Sommer and Valerie Gauvin.

This is the Ghana’s second heavy defeat in Europe in recent times, having been beaten 11-0 by Germany last year. However, that particular Black Queens line-up was dominated by U-23 players.

This match served as preparation for the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations which will be held in Ghana next year.
